I just got to this chapter the other night. I’ve been waaay behind on finishing the manga, since I stopped reading it for years.
But Seriously, if anyone has only watched the anime, the stories they left out from the manga are definitely worth reading. The whole thing is either way, really.
Also obligatory ‘the manga is better’ here. Okay, both are great except the noticeable lack of Lum and/or Ataru episodes of the anime.
Both are indeed worth completing. I finished watching the anime initially, and enjoyed it so much that I wound up reading the entire manga series within a couple of months.
The manga has quite a few stories that I wish were animated, and sometimes I wonder what it would be like if they had a animated another season of the series with those stories. If it would be anything like The Obstacle Course Swim Meet OVA, I’d be all for it.
At least I think they should do more OVAs.
